LA MESA WATERWISE TROPICAL LANDSCAPE

This home was overrun with weeds and weedy trees. The client worked with us to do a lot of the work himself. He wanted a landscape that had a tropical feeling yet one that was comprised of low-water use plantings. Island groupings of plants in decomposed granite (DG) give the effect of a mirage in the desert. The front yard is graced by a Gold Medallion Tree and large agave salvaged from the former landscape.
