Book Club Hideaway

This property is a coach house to a larger property. It had a narrow yard, separated from the main house by an unattractive corrugated metal fence. We covered this metal fence with a framed bamboo fence for a warm, cozy feel. We built a fire pit in the middle of a seating area. In the newly poured concrete floor, we seeded the concrete with colorful stones in the shapes of flames through the concrete. The owners added stained-glass panels, hanging plants, and other personal touches. They also had a green pocket wall which we filled with succulents.
